S.O.S- Chanel Makeup Opinions Needed!

Okay so I want to dip my feet into the Chanel makeup world  because I haven't ever used any. Although every time I see the packaging I get sucked in. Chanel has a girl curse on you as soon as you see those C's. I'm just a little afraid just to go buy without knowing what to get. I mean lets be honest its a little pricey than other brands, so help me out. Let me know what your experience with anything Chanel and your recommendations, or even if you have heard of anything about the brand! Anything will help :)

Lip gloss Its Best & Worst! (Buxom, Urban Decay)

Happy Saturday, I hope everyone is enjoying there weekend so far! So I thought I would write a little bit about my best lip glosses and my worst lip glosses today. I was looking at my jar of lippy stuff and thought there is one  specific brand that I ALWAYS grab for and never really noticed I did it. Then I started to go through them and realized there were ones that I never grab for, so I thought I would do a little review/rant about them! Especially since its summer and  lip gloss is so easy and fast rather than a lipstick. When its hot out and you don't really want to wear a lot of make up, a gloss is a great way to spruce up your makeup for the day! Lets start with the best....

Above-Left to Right: Lolita, Bunny, Roxanne, Carmen, Isabella :19$

These beauties are the Buxom Lips by Bare Escentuals. They are by far my FAVORITE lip glosses ever! They have great color payoff, so vivid and true to its color. The texture of it is smooth and soft without being sticky. It glides on with out a gooey mess so it doesn't get all over. Although, my favorite part about this product is its tingly when you put in on your lips, so you almost feel like you have a treatment on your lips. Also when it tingles you can feel where its at, this is great if you don't have a mirror because you will know exactly where to wipe off if you messed up.
Buxom Swatches-Top to Bottom:  Isabella, Carmen, Roxanne, Bunny, Lolita

My top pick out of these colors would be Lolita for a bolder look and Bunny for a softer neutral pink look. Even though my all time favorite is the Dolly, I had recently ran out of it so I need to pick up another one quick. It is the perfect shade to go with every lip. You really cant go wrong with these glosses, I am sure which ever one you pick up you will love.

Now lets get to the worst lip gloss....

Above-Left to Right: Kirk, Colin, Rashad

Im just going to be honest, these are the worst lip glosses I have ever used. The ONLY good thing is the packaging. Its a unique thin bottle with a guy on the top, which is a pretty cute idea. Although, that doesn't make up for the product itself. When you put it on your lips its very sticky and gooey. It really doesn't have great color it kinda sheer so not very pigmented. The worst part is the smell/taste of it, no lie it smells like mildew mixed with wet laundry, its terrible. Then you can get rid of it until you brush your teeth again because it will stay in your mouth all day and its the worst! I will be throwing these away and im so glad I got them on sale so I didn't pay full price for these!

Cant Find Your Make-Up Brushes? Organize Tip!

You know when you go to find your foundation brush or your favorite blending brush and cant find it or when you spend 10 minutes looking through your drawers trying to find it. Even if you just want to organize them for easy access. Well this is a great way to organize while making it a cute decoration on your table. So I was looking around a local craft store and saw this oblong glass container and thought it would be perfect! I got some bead filler and put some sticky jewels to add a little bit more to the jar. Then I just stuck all my brushes in there. This is such a easy way to store your brushes! I put in on my vanity and it is so cute sitting there, its girly and convenient. Although, I was looking at all the containers and thought a round or square wouldn't work unless you wanted two if you had a lot of brushes. So that's something to consider if you buy one. This project can be so customized, you can use all different jars, fillers, and decorations so you can be so creative! Feel free to comment and let me know if you tried this! Have a good evening!

Purse Organization Tip!

Hey guys! I want to share one of my purse organization tips today. If you have a lot of handbags or tote bags and you don't want to throw them into a tub or shove them underneath your bed this is a great way to store them. I have always had them thrown under my bed and I hated it! When I wanted to carry one I had to dig for the one I wanted, so I was thinking of different ways to store them in a cute way without being in the way. I had recently moved around my clothes so I had some extra room in one of my closets. I thought it would be cute to hang them on the rack to display them and keep them off the ground. I ended up just going to wal-mart to find something easy and cheap to use.
This is what I ended up getting. They are actually shower curtain rings. I found them in the bath area obliviously, for about 4$ for 12 of them. They are just metal rings that snap on the side for easy access to the bag. I went ahead and hung my bags on the rings and the rack and so far it has been great. I haven't had an issue getting them off the ring or them falling off. I do think you have to be careful on which hooks you use because some can be hard to unsnap and end up breaking. Also I have seen the "S" shaped hooks that seem like a good choice. In the end make sure look at all of them and see what is convent for you. :)
I would recommend only doing this for your regular bags and totes. If you have any nicer bags this might ruin the strap by putting stress on it. I would just leave those in your dust bags. Although, this has been the most convenient way for me to store my bags and it looks super cute in the closet! Hope this helps you organize your bags!

Bag Of The Month! LV Review :)

Alright,  I HAD to do a bag of the month because this bag has been my go-to bag for the past couple of weeks! It just seems to go with everyone of my outfits for spring and summer! Its timeless and you really cant go wrong with this! So its the Louis Vuitton Speedy 35. A lot of people get the 30 which is a medium size, but that seems a little small for me. I guess I like the bigger bags so I can fit more in it! Well I learned I definitely can fit more in it! This bag is a bottomless pit, it holds about everything and anything. The only down fall of this bag would be it has no shoulder strap so you cant throw it over your shoulder. Although you can get the speedy with a strap, it does cost a little bit more though.

Some details on the 35 would be its 13.8x9.1x7.1 in measurements  damier azur canvas, cowhide trimming, and brass hardware. Now with this canvas it looks gray and white, well its not. It actually its a denim blue and a cream. You can only really see the blue and cream when you look up close otherwise it does look gray and white. I think this is why this bag seems to go great with a lot of outfits! The handles are extremely soft and light which will darken over time like any LV, but I think the bag will still be beautiful after it darkens. So this bag is a must for me and would definitely recommended it for a summer bag!

My Story: Acne & Accutane Part 2

(Make sure to read Part1)

Accutane... The pill that you have to sign paper to get it. The pill that your here all these horror stories, well im here to tell you all about my experience and the truth behind it. Let me start by saying I was on it for 5 months and im still alive and healthy! So when you sign up you have to go through a consultation and you do have to sign papers. The thing is you have to sign papers for a program called iPledge, which is a government ran program that only focuses on getting pregnant while on Accutane. So you have to have 2 forms of prevention for them to know you wont be having any pregnancies. They do this because they want to prevent baby's with birth defects. When you take Accutane there are possible side effects like joint pain, mood swings, and dryness. I had all of these side effects, but nothing severe, I cried a bit more, I had to use moisturizer and chap-stick 24/7 also some Advil once in awhile when my joints hurt. Although a lot of people hear about liver or kidney problems as a side effect, this only occurs if you drink alcohol while on the medication, so that is a misunderstanding. There are some requirements while on the it, you have to get your blood drawn every month, you cant drink alcohol, you have to take an online quiz for iPledge, once a month check up appointment, and limit sunlight, nothing you cant handle for 5-6 months. If you do decide to get on it, it will get worse for the first month then it truly starts to disappear for the next 2 months then after that your clear for life! After deciding to go though with the medication and the 5 months taking it I can honestly say it was the best thing I have ever done for myself personally. My face is completely clear and the only thing im working on now is my scares so I continue with CO2s. I am cautious about my face so I make sure to use a good face wash and skin products. I would recommended this to anyone who struggles with acne. Trust me I know how it feels to look in the mirror and hate what you see because the only thing you see are these huge red bumps all over your face. I know how it feels to have a conversation with someone and you know there staring at the acne across your forehead and down your cheeks. So if you have tried other medications and nothing is helping, look into Accutane and don't turn away without thinking about it. I hope this helps either settling your mind about the pill or opening your mind.

Lush Product Review! Dry Skin?

Having dry skin or rough skin can be a nightmare! Recently I had a problem with dry skin while being on an acne medication-Accutane. The only way I got rid of it was with these products by Lush. I used the Ocean salt all over then I would put on some Ro's Argan, let it sit for a couple minutes and rinse! I fell in love and continue to use them once a week.  They smell awesome and are great products to cure the skin! :)

Sweet Lips by Lush is my favorite lip scrub! I have tried others that didnt really work , but the sweet lips works wonders! I use it a lot during the winter for that dry lip syndrome everyone seems to get! You just rub a little bit on the lips and you can actually lick it off! So simple, easy, & not to bad on the taste ;)
